Pec, and stuff.

The pec sand, (a great abbreviation nickname I’ve always thought. Don’t think I’ve ever met anyone calling it a pectoral sandpiper), was still on the reservoir. Also here was a juvenile spotted redshank.

On the sea I had a couple of arctic skuas.

Other seabirds were a fulmar, about 25 gannets and lots of common and sandwich terns. 20 species of wader noted.

Along the wetland trails a couple of wheatears showed, along with three whinchats.

Now, this is really my kind of shot. It was pissing down, the dark blobs are raindrops on my lens, plus other distractions, but a lovely little bird in the middle.
a slightly clearer one.
