Couple of hours this morning before the horde of screaming kids arrived lol

Highlights were 4 Red Kites over the house 2 ad with 2 juv very vocal heading towards the tower, in the garden itself was a bit quite as i knew it would be but i did manage to get 4 Treecreeper; 3 LT Tit; 4 Blue Tit; 1 Coal Tit; 5 Great Tit; no Marsh Tit; 3 Green Wood; 1 GS Wood.

On the lake was a Coot; 5 Tufted and that was it.

Steve

29/10/13 - 1200 to 1500
Nice autumnal walk round the gardens this afternoon with 2 Mistle Thrush a few Redwing & Fieldfare over but what kept me there for 3hrs were c.30 Goldcrest scattered around the grounds mainly feeding in the Yews & Box in the centre & woods in the back part, I went through them all in the hope of a Fire or YBW !

But if the weather turns colder you never know as we did have a Firecrest the other year.

This ' Huthatch' that you refer to, is it found around the boat hut ? ;-)
